Loband for iPhone – The App I wish I had

by Jon Thompson on April 13, 2009

This weekend I am laying low in my new apartment on the outskirts of Rome with no Internet other than my trusty AT&T iPhone roaming on an Italian Vodaphone network. God knows how much this will all ultimately cost me but I think I have figured out a way to cut my losses. Right now I am getting most of my news via Twitter which, if I am not mistaken, is fairly light. (isn’t it funny that we were bickering about whether or not Twitter was a reliable source for journalists and now I am getting my news via Twitter’s Breaking News network?)

I am also using Loband to view pages I am actually interested in and I can tell you it sure does make a difference in speed and, I hope, in savings. The only thing I’d like to be able to do is access it via an App and not via Safari. While it is incredibly fast it does not render quite the way I’d like it to. Please Activate, keep pushing the envelope and deliver us an iPhone App!
