Aid work Aussie style

by Jon Thompson on July 29, 2008

If you have ever wondered what Australian NGO’s are out there look no further.  Australian Aid International (AAI) is the brainchild of Frank Tyler and his associate Marc Preston.  They started AAI a few years back following the 2004 Tsunami that ravaged SE Asia.  Now they are at work in East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines and they recently returned from Myanmar.

So, if you live Down Under or even if you don’t be sure to check them out.  They have a quick and easy volunteer form here.  And, if you want to be inspired, check out this multi-image show of pictures taken by people just like you.
