In the spirit of the Swinfen Charitable Trust, Click Diagnostics aims to develop low cost telemedicine solutions for remote communties with the aid of mobile phones. The way it works is community health workers gather patient information with the use of readily available mobile phones and submit the data to Click Diagnositics which routes the info to a physician for diagnosis.
This approach has a lot of potential. Let’s hope they follow through on the development.
