I came across this NYT story about Hoongle this morning and have been wondering about this new creative endeavor ever since. Apparently, for every search you run through their service they donate the proceeds, minus server maintenance costs, to the World Food Programme‘s (WFP) “Fill the Cup” campaign.
I see that there is speculation on Twitter about the legitimacy of the service. It would be great if the Hoongle folks stopped by and left us a comment. Are you guys the real deal?
